Trials, discounts, add-ons, and no-inference boundaries
The captured currency selector includes many currencies, but only GBP prices are exposed. “Save 15% on 10,000+ contacts” is retained; its exact checkout result is not displayed and is not inferred. Nonprofits and charities can request a 15% discount after signing up and contacting Billing.
Standard and Essentials have a 14-day trial. Payment information is required at enrollment. Eligibility is limited to new Mailchimp customers or existing Free Marketing Plan accounts created in the last 90 days in select countries; one trial is allowed per account, it cannot be combined with other offers, and it excludes add-ons and one-time fees. At trial end Mailchimp charges the then-current rate based on contacts and email sends until plan change or cancellation. Purchasing an annual paid plan immediately terminates the trial. Premium’s separate one-month trial is sales-gated and qualification-gated.
SMS is a paid add-on in select countries and requires application and agreement to terms before credits are purchased. Credits issue monthly, unused credits expire, and messages can only be delivered in the selected country. MMS is limited to Standard and Premium contacts in the US and Canada; pricing varies. Intuit Assist is a beta feature for certain Premium/Standard/legacy users in select countries and English only, currently at no additional cost. Pay As You Go email credits are available instead of recurring monthly or annual plans.
Premium customers above 250,000 contacts must contact sales for custom options. Personalized onboarding is available for the first 90 days after new or upgraded Standard/Premium accounts; Premium sessions may be English, Spanish, or Portuguese, while Standard is English. Premium migration services run for the first 30 days for eligible sales-signed accounts. Phone support is English only.
Overages apply when contact or email-send limits are exceeded. Custom-coded email templates can be created on Essentials but require upgrading to send. The Free plan pauses sending at its limits.
